Bernard Boutinet Extra Cognac
Bernard Boutinet’s Extra Cognac is an exquisite 3:1 blend of 25 and 20 year-old eaux-de-vie that have spent their time maturing in Limousin oak casks. Made from Ugni Blanc grapes grown exclusively in the Fins Bois cru, this expressive Cognac is one for a connoisseur's collection.
The House of Bernard Boutinet has over 200 years of history behind it and has maintained its traditional methods of production throughout all this time. Its Cognacs possess the fruity and floral characteristics of the Fins Bois region. Aged in oak barrels and hidden away, undisturbed from daily trepidation they develop into the exquisitely rounded, sweet and fragrant Cognacs that the house is renowned for.
Presentation of the bottle:
This Cognac comes presented in a charming, square-shaped decanter, with a classic golden stopper. The decanter’s illustration is very simple and sits elegantly against the rich mahogany shade of the Cognac.
How to enjoy:
A perfect digestif to be savoured and enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

We were lucky enough to make a visit to this producer in 2017. Now this beautiful producer has stopped production of cognac under their own brand. This is a beautiful cognac from fins bois.
